Sirdar pattern 2260 features a girls bolero and a beret knitted in 10 ply for ages 2 - 13 years.

Materials:   1 ball of each of 3 colours for striped bolero.

                   2 balls for the first 3 sizes and 3 balls for the 3 largest sizes for plain bolero.

                   1 ball for each of the 3 sizes for the beret.

Needles:      1 pair each of 5mm and 4mm knitting needle.

                    also 1 button and a cable needle.

Note: the pattern uses Sirdar Supersoft aran 100g balls, however other 10 plys (aran weight) may be used keeping in mind the difference in metreage.

Tension:       18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 5mm needles.
