Acacia Mosaic Beanie
The mosaic pattern is worked by a sequence of slipped stitches while working 2-round stripes, using one colour at a time. It is knitted from the bottom edge up. The mosaic pattern is a 10-stitch, 16-round repeat. It can be worked from the chart or the written instructions. Every 2nd round is the same as the previous round.

To fit head circumference approx 54 (56, 59) cm / 21 (22, 23¼) ins.
Finished head circumference is 48 (52, 56) cm / 19 (20½, 22) ins.
Finished depth is approx 19 (21, 22) cm / 7½ (8¼, 8¾) ins.
DK or 8 ply yarn
Main Colour (M): 75 (90, 105) metres
Contrast Colour (C): 45 (55, 65) metres
If making a pompom add approx 45 metres
Needles and Extras:
- 3.25mm (US 3) and 4mm (US 6) circular knitting needles in a short length suitable for working a beanie
- 4mm (US 6) dpns set for working the crown
- yarn needle and stitch-markers (as desired)
